Description
Fan or brisé fan with nineteen ivory sticks and two guards with scalloped top edge. Guards deeply carved with figures at the top on the outside and dragons below, and figures on the inside. Obverse and reverse carved and pierced with different Chinese scenes with figures set within a landscape with pavilions and dragons, a border of Chinese symbols, and an outer border of figures, all against a pared background. Cream silk ribbon. Metal loop with love knot.
